    Updating Problem, Nonsense Spouting.

Trying to update my system, all I can find is is:

"Failed to download cdrom:[Kubuntu 12.10 _Quantal Quetzal_ - Release amd64 (20121017.1)]/dists/quantal/universe/binary-i386/Packages Please use apt-cdrom to make this CD-ROM recognized by APT. apt-get update cannot be used to add new CD-ROMs"

It seem that I get no more updates until this is sorted.

Thanks for the redirect, but I find it hard to see how a post with the title "cannot get packages"
would have caught my attention as a solution to my update problem.

I can, however, imagine how annoying it must be to deal with a bunch of dweebs to lazy to look for themselves.

I wouldn't have referred to you (or anyone I didn't know well enough to make that determination ) as a dweeb, but I saw that you were a first-time poster. I thought perhaps you were unfamiliar with forum etiquette.

I remembered that topic had been recently addressed. I searched for Failed to download cdrom and found it in a couple seconds.

Post back if that doesn't address your issue.
