k3b won't recognize new CD-R - can't burn ISO image

      Didn't mean to ignore you. Excellent idea. I didn't respond right away because I'd thought that my burn attempt of the 12.04.1 oversize ISO failed even though I had the "overburning" option checked. Didn't go back to confirm this, but I do recall checking it, as that solution was the first thing I thought of when I was not able to do the burn. At this point I'm not sure WHAT actually happened, memory being an unreliable record of the past!

        Am marking this thread "solved".

        But...still I want to know why this oversize ISO was posted for download in the first place? Should more of us be asking THAT question?
