Continual logging: init: Handling block-device-changed event

As the title says, my 12.04.5 server has this message appearing every 4-5 minutes in the syslog/kern.log:

    init: Handling block-device-changed event

It repeats 1-5 times, usually 4-5, and regularly from 4 to 5 minutes apart. I haven't yet found anything via google. Since this is my server I don't often interact with it directly so I really don't know how long this has been going on but the oldest log available - kern.log from Dec 28th - shows it happening back then.

It would be nice if I could at least tell which device was causing it - or maybe it's not any device and that the problem?

I just checked my two servers and I don't have that message anywhere. Did you find out what it was?

Not yet. Problem is no real info on what it's referring to. I'm going to have to increase logging to figure it out I guess.

Block devices are storage - like HD's or thumb drives. No thumb drive action of this box and the HD's all check out...
