Exfat64

I bought several 64gb flash drives and they all are formatted with exfat64 and Kubuntu sees them but I cannot write to them, after doing some checking exfat is owned by M$S and it is for windows only. but some say there is a workaround but it is not stable, do you think Kubuntu will make it available in the kernal so the drives are usable, I can format them to fat 32 but it is not as fast as exfat64. If you are going to use them only on Linux systems EXT4 or Btrfs or zfs would give you the speed you need.

If you're sharing them with windows machines, ntfs works fine.

Here's a little guide that might help you to get exFAT to work with Ubuntu (and the variants, such as kubuntu, xubuntu etc...)
