Has Lancelot fallen into disfavour? I can't find it in the widgets. Kickoff seems to have changed as well, how do you get back to the main menu from the sub-menus now?

It's not installed by default. Did you try "Download New Widgets?" -

I'm so mystified by this apparent exclusion or blacklisting that I signed up here to get to the root of the problem. Lancelot is not installable via the "Install New Widgets" feature or Muon.
Next I'll add the Mint repos and see if Muon can find it there.Comment

I opened Muon and typed lancelot and 'plasma-widget-lancelot came right up
