razer mouse configuration with razerd and razercfg

I have a Razer Lachesis 5600 mouse. It can be setup/configured from windows (NOT through virtualbox).

I compiled the razerd/razercfg programs, and they run without errors. Unfortunately, it doesn't detect the mouse. Does anyone have this working, or some alternative?

No joy. Evidently it's hardcoded for the Copperhead mouse. In any event, it doesn't see mine.
