Until recently, when I inserted an audio CD into the CD drive, I was given a choice of actions, including ripping with k3b and playing with kscd. Now those choices are gone, presumably as the result of a recent update. (That's something that happens all too often.) I've actually found the place in Systems Settings to fix this: Hardware / Device Actions. The trouble is that I can't figure out just what settings are needed here. The help is only in very general terms, and I need to know the specific device types, value names, etc. in order to fix the problem. Where can I find that information?
- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
