    [SOLVED]New Update Deactivates Flash[SOLVED]

Ok, so I opened up KPackage, looked for updates, flash was one of the updates, selected all the updates since they were from the official repos, now I get a "Hey sexy, you ai'nt got any flash" on any page that has flash stuff. Rustled my jimmies.

Restarted my computer, reinstalled the flash stuff, still no progress.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Hmm... Well, I guess I'll have to figure something out. Is there a way to reverse an update?

            Re: New Update Deactivates Flash

there's a new 64bit flash installer in the sevenmachines PPA. I removed to older one, add this PPA and installed flashplugin64-installer and it worked great.

I'm using 64bit (obviously) and Lucid

              Re: New Update Deactivates Flash

you should be able to fix it by reinstalling the package

              "flashplugin-installer"

every time it gets updated or installed it will go fetch the plugin if you have a network issues durring its configure it cant get the plugin. so its a good place to start. i have never used a ppa for the flash plugin. in not sure if this grabs the 32 bit or 64 bit plugin but it doesn't really matter anyway since your 64bit os can run 32bit code.
