I accidentally added the same network printer twice in Kubuntu. So now the same printer shows up under two different queue names. How can I remove one of these queues? I don't see a remove option in the Printer Configuration tool or in the CUPS web interface at http://localhost:631. Thanks!

 Re: Remove remote printer

 http://localhost:631
 Printers
click on printer you want to delete
click on "Administration" - NOT in the tabs at the top, rather the little one below the printer name
 select "Delete Printer"

 Re: Remove remote printer

When I click the Printers tab, it shows me the queue names. But when I click on one of them, it just takes me to the printer administration page on the server. (Remember, this is a remote printer.) So that doesn't help because I just want to get rid of the local queue reference.

See screenshot. The circled queue is the one I want to get rid of.

 Re: Remove remote printer

On the server, I believe you need to have "Allow remote administration" ticked.

Does the server show two printers or just one?
This seems odd to me because that's not how it behaves on mine. I get the local Administration page i.e. the url is http://localhost:631/admin. If I type server:631/admin I get the server admin page.takes me to the printer administration page on the server
