How remove 'Recently Accessed' in Dolphin Panel 14.04 LTS ?

Is there a way, besides hiding, to completely remove the Recently Accessed section. If not perhaps a tool to clean the accumulated recently accessed items ?
Neither Sweeper nor Bleachbit do this.

    Timeline

The 'Recently Accessed' is showing the data from the 'timeline'.

The 'timeline'was introduced with the KDE 4.4: http://www.kde.org/announcements/4.4/applications.php
...the newly introduced timeline. In any location bar within a KDE application (like in Dolphin and Konqueror...
Back then the 'timeline' was using the Nepomuk - Now it is using the Baloo as the data storage. If you don't want to disable the Baloo then you could hide the 'Recently Accessed' from the side panel.

Right click the today, yesterday, this month and last month and hide them.

Thanks. Now, like perhaps 90% of users, I have a pressing need to completely disable Baloo i.e. not just excluding /home from indexing.
Rog132 refers to disabling Baloo in the above post.
Please advise how to safely do this. I can't see anything to disable in /home/ocky/.kde/share/config/baloofilerc for instance.

Oops, I see GreyGeek has already opened a thread HERE
