Intel VAAPI driver apparently is bugged!

A recent update to the VAAPI driver now causes my laptop to lose its IP connection approximately once per hour, and the only way to resolve the issue...

I am having issues with networkmanager-fortsslvpn.
In Arch based distros works fine, but in Kubuntu and Ubuntu based distros, doesn't work.
