    System Backup

I would like to do a backup of my system, so if something happens, all I would have to do is reinstal Kubuntu and restore the backup. What directories do I need to back up to accomplish this? Thanks.

Your home directory is the first thing (/home/<your-username>
You can also back up your /etc directory, which will have all your system wide settings (such as your video config) but it is not vital.

I usually just have my home dir and a copy of my /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /etc/apt/sources.list in my backups
