I have looked all over the internets and I can't find a simple answer to this: I installed kubuntu easily onto the partition i made for it not problems except I don't know how to get it to show up on the boot.ini. I read a tut, but it was for ubuntu, and gave me several lines of code to type into a Linux
system restore. it told me to, eventually, copy the ubuntu.bin to the shared drive then copy that to C:\ and then open the boot.ini and put C:\ubuntu.bin "Linux". I did that, I figured it is a derivative of ubuntu it may have the same file, it copied a file named that anyway. Anyway, when i rebooted I got the choice of either OS but when I went to Linux nothing happened but a black screen with a blinking cursor. Can anyone help in this area, or at least link me to someplace that can help?
