    Firefox Flash plugin

    I'm having trouble installing the Flash plugin in Firefox. The install procedure finishes, but the plugin is still missing.

    I guess it's to do with some write permission stuff, as it installs fine when I start Firefox with kdesu. However, the plugin then is only installed for the root user...

    you should get flash 9_beta_2 instead

        you should get flash 9_beta_2 instead
        I did that, and copied libflashplayer.so to .mozilla/plugins. Now Flash works in Firefox, however the mouse pointer icon bounces for some 20 seconds every time I start Firefox. Which is quite annoying. So seemingly something is wrong.

        Edit: it's stopped bouncing now, and everything works fine. Weird.
