Re: How do i change KDM theme?
You basically have two options:
1. Disable the theming of kdm completely, edit /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc and change
UseTheme=true to UseTheme=false
This will give you the (plain) default kdm dialog, which isn't much to look at, but fully configurable from SystemSettings
2. You can find a theme (from kde-look) that supports user lists (there seem to be a few around, and of course you can edit them if you like)...there is a kcontrol module for installing and selecting themes in universe, 'kdmtheme'...but installing a theme is pretty straight-forward...copy the theme to /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes and change /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc to point to your new theme Theme=/usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/<THEME>

Re: How do i change KDM theme?
I installed gdm, it has beautiful login pages, like this: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/sh...?content=37589
Is there any issues when i use gdm with KDE?

Probably you won't have options to Log Out/End Current Session, or Start a new Session. not really sure, though.

In KDE logout dialog? That's an improvement, some time ago you couldn't shutdown directly from kde if you used gdm.Originally posted by OwdyNoep, they are still there.Originally posted by JucatoProbably you won't have options to Log Out/End Current Session, or Start a new Session.
GDM may use a bit more memory than KDM with kde, but that can hardly be listed as an issueOriginally posted by OwdyIs there any issues when i use gdm with KDE?
If you've found a theme you like, I'd say go with it.
