    Realtek sound not working

    I recently installed Kubuntu to learn linux. Everything is working except for my sound doesn't work. I checked posts and started KMix and the volumes are set to max and turned on. In KInfoCenter my Sound tab says

    I'm not sure what the installed drivers or the NOT ENABLED IN CONFIG means.

    Hi

    If you haven't tried it already, type alsamixer in a console and make sure master and pcm are turned up. If that doesn't work, you could try changing the sound system to OSS.

      Hello,

      Two things: a problem solved
      I have the same problem with a Realtek ALC883 (on Acer Aspire 9423): no sound at all. I get the sound OK by using activating Front in KMix (PC Speaker was on, but it's doesn't run).
      Is it a bug to report?

      A problem to solve
      Amarok is able to read a sound file, but it can't sound with a webradio although the files is considered as normally running by amarok (it load the link normally and the equalizer show as usual).
