    [SOLVED] Update issue

I uninstalled brave browser through meon and purge it (now on kubuntu 20.04 lts), but while updating system this is shown. Err:2 https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com stable InRelease The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY A8580BDC82D3DC6C Reading package lists... Done W: An error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not updated and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com stable InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY A8580BDC82D3DC6C W: Failed to fetch https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3...able/InRelease The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY A8580BDC82D3DC6C W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. How to solve this?

Remove the Brave repository from your Software Sources found in Discover's settings, or fix the missing signing key

If you did not use these instructions from brave on how to install it https://brave.com/linux/
then there are about 350,000 different pages on how to fix this type of error, but I found one that is specific to Brave
