Pulseaudio does not detect my headset's microphone. In Ubuntu 20.04 I did not have this problem but it seems Kubuntu does not work like Ubuntu.

Well, technically, Kubuntu and Ubuntu handle audio identically as they are identical under the GUI skin, but with of course different look to the settings.
