[Settings] Audio profiles don't get saved

Hi there.

Kubuntu 19.10+ backports PPA, all-in-one PC

All-in-one PC is connected to a TV via HDMI.

I switched the profile in Audio hardware->Additional tab to Digital Stereo (HDMI x) output and saved it so that all sound would come from the TV.

However, after I power off my PC and then start it again the profile gets changed to Analog stereo output (my PC's built-in audio system).

Why does it happen?

Have you set the desired device as the default?
I do not have an 'hardware->Additional ' tab in System Settings in my Plasma 5.17.5 system

You can set it using the widget


Or from System Settings


Here, I have it set to my onboard sound card as the default
