How to change the input dialogue box dot size

I am new to linux and I am really enjoying using Kubuntu. I would like to know how I can change the size of the dots for the input dialogue boxes in Kubuntu as I do not like the look of the large dots.

One option would be switching to the QtCurve theme which has an option to change the character used for the "password mask" in it's settings.
