[Internet] Google Public DNS .. How can I change them to?

I've just installed Kubuntu and I'd like to change my DNS to the public Google DNS.
In my "Wired connection" I changed the Method to "Automatic (only addresses). I wrote the IPV4 google DNS in "DNS Servers"
I did the same thing in the IPV6 window.
Is that right? The problem is that if I click on the connection icon in the bar I didn't see any change!
    Please can you help me?
    Thanks!

Did you disconnect then reconnect? I do not think it reloads automatically.

You can check "Automatic (Only addresses) using command-line:

nmcli dev show | grep DNS

to list the dns servers for the selected network connection.

I have a Getflix smartdns server connection I use to watch UK TV, etc.
