please help no option for installing kubuntu as dual boot

i have been trying for the past couple of hours to install kubuntu in dual boot but had no luck. all other linux distro are able to install in dual boot except kubuntu. kubuntu installer doesnt show the option to install alongside window 10. windows 10 is installed in legacy mode . please help

Have you used the Windows 10 Disk Management utility to shrink the Windows 10 volume? If you haven't, there won't be any available space on the HDD (Windows 10 reserves it all be default) to install another OS.
