Dual boot setup complete - Windows deleted - Expand EXT4 partition

Today I deleted Windows from the hard drive that also has Kubuntu on it. I formatted the Windows partition using ext4. Now I have two ext4 partitions of equal size.
How can I expand the Kubuntu partition to its full size?

Also, Windows is still in the boot menu or GRUB menu. How can I delete that as well?

just use the new partition for some of you linux stuff... media files, backups, games, etc so they don't clutter up your home partition.

grub is likely picking up on the windows boot loader in the EFI partion

you can go in there and just delete the whole windows folder tree and it should stop showing up

you might want to deactivate OS_PROBER in grub after that.

Thank you very much for this tip. It works great.

However, I reformatted the internal 1 TB hard drive to ext4. Now my PC is completely free of Windows.

Now I'm really looking forward to exploring Kubuntu in detail. 🥳 🎉
