Security?
I have been a satisfied user of Kubuntu s/w for several years. I am a novice and still struggle at times! I chose to up grade to Kubuntu 24.04.3 in January.
While 'getting-the-feel' of the new format I was attacked by a 'scam' e-mail. The attack was assumed to be sheer coincidence, but it made me suspicious about the security settings.
I tried raising the Firefox browser security level to STRICT and also looked at the OS FIREWALL settings. The F/W was not enabled and when selected it just displayed a 'busy' symbol.
Is there a conflict between system F/W and the browser settings?
How do I add required RULES once the F/W is enabled?
A bit of a mouthful but I hope someone can point me in the right direction?
