Hi, I'm Sira
I've had this issue for a while, but I wanted to make sure I really tried to do my research before I asked here, so I read up on all the articles newbies should read from this forum

While installing Kubuntu 25.10, I ran into an error when attempting to shrink the partition for Windows. It was the first option, so I assumed it was the one I should use as a default when dual booting.
The issue is this:
After that it boots into a live / try Kubuntu environment
What I have tried
!
Below is the information newbies are asked to provide, I hope I did everything correctly
The version/release of Kubuntu you are using
Whether Kubuntu is actually installed, or is running "live" from a bootable USB Flash Drive or LiveCD
Running "live" from a bootable USB Flash Drive
If Kubuntu is installed, is it the only OS on the PC, or is it installed alongside another OS (Windows or ...) or is it installed in a VM (Virtual Machine)?
Running alongside another OS: Windows (Not in a VM)

What I have tried
- Shrinking the partition in Windows first.
- Undoing the shrinking in Windows and try again
- Search for similar issues on this forum
- Tried again after a two weeks break, to make sure I was not missing anything
- Tried installing with standard language (American English)
- Checking the Checksum of the .iso file I created with the USB tool, Rufus
