    Updating Kubuntu 24.10

Can anyone advise me. These days, every time I update the system (24.10) I get a shed load of errors. the system still goes on to do some updating, but something must be wrong. Changing servers doesn't seem to make any difference. Also, I've learned to ignore the icon telling me that there is an upgrade to 25.04. It never works and shows no error messages.
This is the list of errors:

W: Repositories should provide a clear-signed InRelease file, but none found at http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/di...rity/InRelease.
E: The repository 'http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu oracular-security Release' no longer has a Release file.

    Welcome to KFN.

You posted this in 24.04, but you are running 24.10 which is EOL (End of Life) as of in July 2025. 24.10 isn't supported, so I moved your post.

The output above indicates you have repositories for Oracular (24.10):

    http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu oracular-security Release
    https://mirror.bahnhof.net/ubuntu oracular Release
    https://mirror.bahnhof.net/ubuntu oracular-updates
    https://mirror.bahnhof.net/ubuntu oracular-proposed

    and Noble (24.04):

    https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/yan...-repair/ubuntu noble

Including repositories for different releases of Kubuntu is a bad idea.
Windows no longer obstruct my view.

24.10 not only is EOL since July but it's software archive has been mothballed -- or rather it had been moved.

You can still try to upgrade but it will take some extra steps

You will need to adapt it to use "oracular", and not that the file name and format used will be different, but the url change is identical.
