Display error
Hi, I'm new to Kubuntu.
I've spent several hours trying to solve this problem, but it's difficult to search for it because it's hard to describe.
The problem occurs system-wide in various applications, but it's most visible in images and videos, and behind text.
Sometimes it goes away without me changing any settings (in Firefox, for example) and comes back later (a few minutes). With Kate, the problem persists even though it's gone in Firefox for the moment.
The problem only occurs at 144Hz. If I set it to 60Hz, everything works.
With a color temperature of 6500k, it's barely visible but not gone.
I'm currently using a color temperature of 3600k.
What's interesting is that when I restart my system, I get a color temperature of 6500k.
My current value, however, is set (3600k).
If I move the slider under Night Colors, the current color temperature is immediately reactivated without having to click Apply.
I remember having the same problem in Windows 10 from time to time: the color temperature wasn't applied when restarting, even though it was set. Only after I adjusted the slider.
I never had the graphics errors in Windows 10, though.
I've already tried Wayland and a different Nvidia driver, without success.
But it can't be the monitor, can it? It's an Asus ROG Strix XG27U.
