Desktop Display Locked Up...

...and input from my keyboard and mouse produced no response with the cursor frozen in place, so I had to perform a hard shutdown.
I subsequently booted the system and I performed "journalctl -b -1 -r".
The most recent error found in the log was

Can anyone here think of a reason why this would lock up my display and disallow input from my keyboard and mouse?
Is there anything I can do about this?
