Can't use wifi after installing Nvidia drivers

Hi there! I'm new to Linux, and heard I should install proprietary Nvidia drivers.

I used the kubuntu driver manager, and chose one of proprietary options for my graphics card. I don't have the error code anymore, but it said it had an error with the post-install routine, and then said I needed to restart to finish installing the driver. I restarted, and now my internet doesn't work and neither does my headset.

I tried switching back to the Nouveau drivers, and that hasn't fixed it.

I also tried following this tutorial, but it hasn't fixed things. I think there was an error when I enabled networking in recovery mode, so the dpkg failed without wifi? https://youtu.be/NGhIaxPRtJo

I'd really appreciate any support, I'd love to use the Wi-Fi on my computer.

Hello everyone! I seem to have found a fix, but I want to share it for any other newbies who run into the same problem.

I hooked up my computer to ethernet, which still worked, and ran the same process.
    1. Open grub menu
    2. go to advanced option
    3. Choose recovery mode on the older version
    4. Choose "networking"
    5. Choose "dpkg"
    6. Hit "y" for all following prompts
    7. Restart computer (which will happen when you say "y" to the relevant prompt)

I also checked the kubuntu-driver-manager, and it looks like I'm using the proprietary NVIDIA drivers! Mission accomplished!
