I used kubuntu 17.10, I have configured this settings for energy management:
Energy saving of the screen-turn off after - 10 minutes.
Well, when arrive at this 10 minutes, the monitor not turn off 100%.
It turns off and on intermittently, but the power of the monitor, not kubuntu.
This is with my internal graphic kabylake, with my external nvidia, power off fine.
Also, I view that, darken the screen also not work.
