    Discover crashes

    Hello.
    Yesterday, I upgrade kubuntu 17.10 to Plasma 12 with backport PPA - https://kubuntu.org/news/plasma-5-12...tful-aardvark/

    All fine but Discover crashes after reboot.

    If I start Discover appears: cgcicon.knsrc:all categories are missing

    Opoen Discover with konsole:

    Continue search for info, I view that, have a a bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390007 (but indicate in KDE Neon LTS but its the same issue).

    At the moment, I can update with this command in konsole:
    pkcon refresh && pkcon update

    I create a bug in kde:     https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390158

      I am running KDE Neon User Edition with Plasma 5.12.0, fully updated.
      I opened a Konsole and started Discover, which worked fine. In fact, it worked better than it ever had in the past. Much faster, more complete. Part of the speed improvement may be due to the fact that I now have a 100mpbs fiber optic connection. Here is what is displayed in the Konsole screen:

      My last act in Discover was to search for "btrfs". The spinning wheel spun madly but I got tired of waiting so I backed the "btrfs" out of the search box using the backspace key. That stopped the search and probably supplied the last msg about "Timers cannot be stopped from another thread".

      But, all in all, I was pleasantly surprised by Discover's excellent behavior.

        In Neon I've seen that it fails after updating to 5.12 plasma from Neon LTS and it happens to me in two computers.
        I guess it does not happen to all people, but we are several people with this failure

          Mmm... I’m running a fully updated KDE Neon User Edition with Plasma 5.12.0 and this is the first time Plasma has run perfectly for me.
