What protocols are started on your imac? It is often easier to work with SMB or SFTP (I think enabling remote logon will enable SFTP) -
Can't access imac on Kubuntu
I have Kubuntu 16.04 installed alongside Ubuntu and Linux Mint - in Mint I managed to connect with my imac OS 10.6.8 and 10.10 with no problem,to access Mac files, using the standard -mac sharing - afp I guess.
On Kubunu I can see the mac in dolphin but right clicking on it produced an empty window.
Any tips please?
- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
