[RESOLVED] OS starts with black screen and only cursor

Since the last theme update Kubuntu keeps starting with a black screen and the desktop is not loading.

I have to start in recovery mode but the weird thing is I just choose it and end it again and then it starts with desktop again.

Somewhere I found that changing the NV settings/X Server Display Config/Advanced/ to "force composition pipeline" would fix that problem but when I start the nv-settings as root, set that option and try to save it it says "file not found" instead of creating it.

Nevermind. I didnt need to start NV-settings in admin mode. Starting it normally made it possible to accept the setting and the desktop loading problem disappeared.
