Remove stripes from file listing in Dolphin 16.04.3

Is it possible to have a uniform background in Dolphin's file listing rather than the alternating grey and darker grey horizontal stripes?

My starting point is Breeze Dark which I've saved as Breeze Dark1 and am tweaking a bit.

In system settings -> Color -> Colors tab, there's a "drop down" list called "Color set", which defaults to "Common Colors". I suspect that it's the drop down list that you're missing.

Click on it (not the legend "Color set", rather where it says "Common Colors") and choose "View". Then you'll see "Normal Background" and "Alternate Background". Those are the colours my dolphin is using; if I make them the same, apply, and restart dolphin the banding is gone.

Watch out, on my 16.10 the colours bounce around unpredictably when I make changes and hit apply. Light becomes dark, dark becomes light, it's often a mess. It's only after restarting apps that I see the colours I've chosen.
