bluetooth connect problem

Kubuntu 20.04 trying to setup bluetooth. it finds my headset and sets it up however will not connect. the error msg. is Failed to get rfcomm channel.

Bluetooth device info ($ lspci -knn | grep Net -A2; lsusb)?
