how do i boot?

Hi I installed Kubunto Breezy on my machijne a year ago and am just comming back to look at it. I had forgotten my password andso changed it, now once I type the user Id and password it takes me toi wade@allsopp:$

how do I get the thing to start when ever I type anything it says -bash command not found

Sounds like you logged in successfully and are now in a linux session - so all is good so far Now I'm guessing you want to be in kde. Type startx or startx kde and see what happens
