    Question about LVM and PVCREATE

    Good night!

I have accidentally deleted one of my partition while I reading about LVM(Logical Volume Management). I have no idea it destroy my files...

    i type something like:
    Code:
    sudo pvcreate /dev/sda3
And I can't see my partition or access the data inside... There a chance to reverse it?

I using Kubuntu 14.04. Sorry my English.

If you deleted a partition, it should be easy to recover it using TestDisk:
    http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk
Study the site, the tips, the step-by-step.
In the meantime, do not try to use that partition or disk as you might cause more data loss that is not recoverable.
