    Installing SketchUpMake-en.exe

    Using kubuntu 15.04
    Objective: To install Sketchup
Have all the wine 32 bit prerequisites installed, ready to install SketchupMake,
    Question 1: Should SketchupMake.exe be 32 or 64 bit?
Question 2: How do I install Sketchup??
Looked up past posts but could not find info on this.

Please forgive me for my ignorance, but how do I launch winetricks (in user/bin/winetricks?)

you should have it in y our menus somewhere, I think it is installed along with wine itself. At least memory tells me it does. I don't use wine except in extreme situations, Such as when I am drinking, or some other foolish activity

Launching winetricks: On clicking hidden folder Home/Winetricks, this message appears:
Warning: Could not start program '/usr/bin/winetricks' with arguments '/usr/bin/winetricks /home/bumpy/winetricks'.
          Warning: Exec format error

          I'll remove winetricks from home/winetricks & user/bin/winetricks & try again
          Problem: your initial post
"winetricks has it for you ,,,,,,,,,,,install winetricks,,,,,,,,,,launch winetricks ,,,,go to "install applications" select sketchup"
was not explicit enough, I would appreciate a little more elaboration.
          Thanks in advance.

So, you don't have a menu entry for it?

I don't understand why you would delete The file /usr/bin/winetricks, this is the actual program executable or script . And why delete any other files?

If you haven't deleted things, open your kmenu and search for "winetricks" if you cannot find it. It may be under a Wine section, or possibly in Lost and Found.

I'd screenshot it for you but I'm at work
