I did a normal update a month or so ago, just before leaving to dive with disabled people in Key Largo, and found that I had LOST THE ACTIVITIES!
Panic! Of course I keep all my data on a thumb drive and thence to an external hard drive, but did the whole thing about backing up contacts, settings, etc.
Ok, I returned this last week and after a couple more updates,
The activities are back!
Apparently something in the update which was fixed with an update that affected only this particular setup because I found nothing on the net referencing it.
Moral to the story:
a) if it happens, immediately back everything up.
b) wait for a few updates to see if the OS gets its skirts straightened out.
