I just duelbooted kubuntu alongside windows yesterday, now it won't even load up. How can I fix this? I am on the GRUB 2 menu and I selected kubuntu and it just goes on a black screen for a long time. I am not sure if the installation messed up or something?

Well, you didn't give us any details (UEFI booting? new/old computer?), so I'm going to recommend you get Boot Repair, and it will re-install GRUB for you:
