In releases through 14.10, a blueproximity icon appears in the system tray if one starts the program.  In 15.04, there is no blueproximity icon. The program is there, but there is no way to interact with it, because you interact through the system tray icon.

There are a couple of threads here on KFN. Some of these , like Dropbox and Veromix, aren't going to work unless someone gives them some love.
