    Calender & Events

If I click on the clock I see the calender.

If I want to see events do I need to use the calender in Korgainizer or Kontact?

    Thanks

You need to add an events calendar in Kontact, then it's contents will be visible in the clock calendar.

If you use Kaddressbook then any birthdays/anniversaries that you have set up will also show - but you need to action the relevant akonadi entry in System Settings/Personal Information.

          Thank you

Out of interest, I located the folders that contain akonadi and noted three entries. When two or more entries are listed does this mean that the same programme, in this case akonadi, is installed in, say, two different locations. Or, is one programme installed once, but with links - I suspect the latter.

          Best wishes.

          Ref.

          Code:
          andrew@andrew-Dell-DM061:~$ whereis akonadi
          akonadi: /etc/akonadi /usr/lib/akonadi /usr/share/akonadi
          andrew@andrew-Dell-DM061:~$

            Those are 'directories'.

I think they (folders/directories) are the same thing.

              Am I right regarding links?
