    Home Filder

I have managed to place the Home folder icon at the extreme bottom left of the screen next to my four desktop icons. This was an accident. I don't know how I managed this.

I can't seem to remove it.

    Advice please.

    Thanks

If I interpreted correctly, you put a shortcut to your home folder in the kde panel where you also see your clock and the launch menu.
To edit this panel, put your mouse all the way on the right side of the panel, and you will see the panel tool box lighting up.
click on it and you will be able to edit what is in the panel.
In this edit mode, go with your mouse to the icon you want to remove and above the icon you will see a little popup with the txt icon and an X symbol.
Click on th X and your icon is gone.

In the video they create a new panel, but later on at 5:25 minutes, you can see how to customise the normal kde panel.

      Thank you for responding.

      That problem is now solved.

      I have another problem:

I have four virtual desktops and at present the programme icons are appearing in the lower panel for all the desktops. I would like to see only the icons that relate to the particular desktop.

      Any thoughts?
