Two major issues with Kubuntu 14.04.

    and back at the terminal do this ,,,,,,

    or is you want to use the skype package you DL'd from skype make shure you have qapt installed

    it should be installed by default but if not install it ,,,,,,,,,find the .skype.deb you DL'd and right click it and open with Qapt.,,,,,,,,,,,,,it must be a .deb file

        that would be ,,,,,,open muon discover on the top bar their is a button "sources" click it ,,, now on the right side of the top bar you will see "configure software sources" click it , put in your password,,,now you will see the window I was referring to
