    share tbird - win7 and Kubuntu 14.04

    I followed this document - http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=203524
Everything works fine in windows 7. When I try to open the new profile I created on a fat32 drive, it says its already running. Deleted lock files. The path I am using is /mnt/mail/mozilla_profiles/thunderbird/Profiles/wcixsc6p.default mail is a 10G partition mounted at /mnt/mail. This is what I see no matter how I start Tbird. Am I missing something? Hopefully someone has an answer before I pull out all my hair (lol)

Have you via Ctrl+Esc checked there really isn't another instance running?

I've never tried sharing it with Windows but have for years been sharing between two versions of Kubuntu.
It is installed on one partition and I made a link to the second partition then installed it there, the link was picked up as if it were the 'real thing'.

      Its working now

Got it working. Had to play with the profile.ini to get the right path. One small typo can really mess things up
