Problems getting live CD to boot

I am having some problems with the live CD and getting it to boot. I keep getting an id respawning to fast disabled for five minutes and gets caught in a loop there. I also get user not known to the underlying authentification module. any help would greatly be appreciated.

have you run the cd checker on the first bootup menu? if not try it and see what you get there.
