wireless stops working after reboot - delete/add connection gets it working again

    Hi,

I installed kubuntu 12.04 about 3 weeks ago - all worked fine. About a week ago, the wireless stopped working - it couldn't see my network, but could my neighbours. I restarted my modem and router, but still it couldn't see my network. My Windows 7 laptop could connect to my wireless network.

I restarted my netbook. Still couldn't see my network. I removed the connection, still no luck. Restarted, it could see the network. I set up the connection, all fine.

But after reboot, it sees the network, kde wallet prompts for password, then network sticks on "waiting for authorisation", but does not connect. Clicking Edit Connection button does nothing. If I delete connection and recreate it the wireless works <edit>until the next reboot<edit>.

    Any ideas?

I installed Chromium about 4 days before - wireless worked after reboot.
I installed some codecs about 2 days before - wireless worked after reboot.

    System info below.

    Regards.

when you recreate the network connection make sure you tick the check box "is system connection" ...
and to be onest I disable the wallet daemon as soon as I do the install ,,,, it seams to do things like this to me as well .
