        Oh, OK. Sounds reasonable. The only reason I ask is that I feel it's important for folks to think through why they want to use encryption, which it appears you've done. I've seen too many instances where people chose to encrypt their entire home directory simply because the installer offered that option, then they subsequently lose their key. Encryption is not risk-free.

        Wow. I've never seen that site before, and yeah, I can see how it might be viewed as official. The lack of an "About" page is worrisome.

            Most likely reason is you don't have a 64 bit OS.

              I just installed Kubuntu 64 bit a week ago. But here you go:

                But the same download works on my machine so I'm not sure what it could be.
