    Keyrings and Thunderbird

This just started happening today. With Thunderbird open, everytime I get some email, I get asked for a keyring. I don't remember setting up a key ring. If I click cancel, I seem to be able to do what I want. It's just annoying to have to continue to click cancel. How can I disable the keyring?

    Thank you.

Something you installed must have pulled in the Gnome keyring, which is what is used there for storing passwords

You should be able to safely uninstall the package gnome-keyring, but do take note of what the package manager wants to remove just in case.
