    how to mount windows partition?

just installed kubuntu on my compaq presario p4 2.4 notebook.  i already had windows installed and set up a dual boot.  i think that during the install process i was probably supposed to set up the other partitions but was paranoid that something would go wrong and didn't entirely understand what was going on.  konquerer can see the other partitions but when i try to mount them i get:
    "mount: can't find /dev/hda5 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
Please check that the device is plugged correctly."
    and
    "mount: can't find /dev/hda1 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
Please check that the device is plugged correctly."

    any suggestions?

also always try searching the forums first as this is an issue that is deffinetly been covered before, but as well good to bookmark psychocats as well, and if you need to know anymore about setting up kubuntu, also try,
